In November 2017, ECKERT deployed a plasma-oxygen cutting machine to VARD, an international shipbuilding company operating nine facilities globally in Norway, Romania, Brazil, and Vietnam. The Onyx 3D was installed at VARD's Romanian facility in Tulcea.
Key specifications: 3000 x 24000 mm dimensions, Eckert I-Vision CNC controller with 19" touchscreen, Vortex 3D plasma head, Hypertherm XPR300 plasma unit with TrueHole technology, and PFC-12 PLUS filtration system.
