Eckert developed an automatic calibration system for the Vortex 3D FL plasma cutting head. The system performs precise alignment by detecting and compensating mechanical deviations through a 5-axis drive system, completing the process in under 2 minutes compared to over 2 hours for manual calibration.
Key benefits: all inaccuracies and deviations are continuously corrected, reduced waste material, minimized operator skill requirements, and improved process repeatability. The package includes a quick-change head, high-precision calibration block, and CNC controller software.
